i am what i am...
That's my mantra. I am dedicating my life to see the beauty in all things and I hope I can inspire others to do the same through my art.
In 2015, I graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelors degree in Environmental Science. Since then, I have fallen in love with the Appalachian mountains and the magical ecosystems that define the region. Photography and videography have been a life-long passion of mine ever since my dad first handed me a VHS camera to help film a home video on a camping trip. Now I use it to document the ever-changing horizons of today.
My dad, Volkmar, died of cancer when I was 12 years old. With his monetary help and spiritual guidance I decided to build a home out of a 2006 Sprinter van. It serves as my house, my office, and a mobile speaker system. Keeping money in an investment account and maintaining a single career just did not suit my dreams - so I decided to make the most of his death, by making the most of my life.
Pop-up wood-fired pizza events are in the works! :)
Let's collaborate!
All the best,
